My Fiber Fantasy...

...comes true.
With playtime in Carolyn's "Upstairs Studio". From Tuesday night to Thursday morning I had the time of my life. I felt bad having so much fun since lil' sis' had an ugly migraine. I'm a self-proclaimed expert on migraines but would she listen to me, nooooo.... not until she had suffered all day. Of course she's a pharmacist and a very sensible person and was following her own advice as to "never, ever take someone else's medicine"!!! Of course that's very good advice and one should stick to it come hell or high water......but who ever mentioned "come migraines"! Well, push finally came to shove and she downed the "miracle" pill..........of course it worked, didn't I promise it would :)
(I could do a whole blog about migraines and fire ants....tell me if your interested! Just kidding hehe!)
But on the the fun stuff in the Loft

We took this....... and this......... and made this..................

....which then became this....

I left for home on Thursday with boundless idea's of fiber and things and a many more lovely memories of a dear fiber friend and surrogate sister.

Hubby was glad to have me home and I gave him hugs and squishes then off to my playroom to spin this after making loose rolags with the batts.

I figure there is about 1lb of fiber so that should make about 800 yds. There are a multitude of idea's running through my head as to what I should do with it but more than likely it will be something spur of the moment and the current idea's won't even make the cut.

Must run...van's packed and the Log Cabin at the Pioneer Settlement awaits...

Stay tuned.
