Before the freeze...

...I took this picture of my lovely Poinsettia's. They have been decorating the west side of DH's shed for quite some time but I hated to know they'd be gone by morning. Way to early for a freeze in Florida....would this be a case for "global cooling"?

OK...Knitting news!

Dawn's Poncho is finished and winging it's way to her right now, she know's she's getting it so I'm not spoiling anything. In fact she picked out the "blue jean" matching Encore yarn. I had to rearrange the design as I ran short of yarn but I was pleased with the end result. I didn't need to take a picture as it is much like Sydney's. I've another on the needles for my sis'in'law Elaine. Yep, same name just spelled different....life gets really interesting when the two of us are together, which we were last week when she visited us on her way back to OK. Poor thing she's got to be freezing for sure up there.

Stalled stuff: The Mola Poncho is buried somewhere in my "play room"....yes I hope to finish it very soon. I have two shawls also on the needles along with the vest for the TKGA Master Knit program....sheesh that seems to be such a lost cause right now. The temptation and inspiration I get from other knit/spin blogs is rather overwhelming. It's terribly hard to ignore the urges to start a new project but I've promised myself that if I can make it through Christmas without a new one then all bets are off for the New Year.....Yeah!
