Materials:
50 grams mohair look yarn to match gauge.
50 grams mohair look yarn to match gauge.
1 pair of needles recommended for yarn.
1 pair of needles at least 4 sizes smaller.
Gauge:10 sts x 16 rows = 4inches

Directions:
With larger (gauge) needles.
Loosely Cast On 40 sts.

Pattern Row: P1, *YO, P2tog, repeat from * to last st. P1.
Repeat Pattern row 10 more times or until desired width across fingers.

Shape for thumb gusset:
Gusset Row 1: Pattern 6. *YO, P2tog rep from * 2 more times. Sl1, ybk, Turn.
Gusset Row 2: Sl1, *YO, P2tog rep * 2 more times. Turn. (leaving 6 sts on needle unworked)Gusset Row 3: *YO, P2tog rep from * 3 more times. Sl1, ybk, Turn.
Gusset Row 4: Sl1, *YO, P2tog rep * 3 more times. Turn.
Gusset Row 5: *YO, P2tog rep from * 2 more times. Sl1, ybk, Turn.
Gusset Row 6: Sl1, *YO, P2tog rep from * to end of row. (includes previously unworked sts)

Repeat Pattern Row 10 more times

To join sides of Wrister:
Run smaller needle through the CO stitches so that points are facing the same direction.
Fold work so that needles are parallel.
Using working gauge needle knit together one stitch from each needle. Rep across all stitches.
You should now have 40 stitches on one needle.

Frill:
Row 1, K in front and back of each stitch across.
Row 2, K across.
Row 3, repeat row 1.
Row 4, bind off.
Sew in ends.

Optional finish for thumb:
Single crochet around the thumb opening, approx' 20 to 24 sc, join and sew in ends.
